THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE SOCIAL IN THE SUBJECT OF EVALUATION

Аннотация : 

When viewed as an interpretational concept, evaluation can be indicative of the voice of the speaker as being social or purely individual. The voice can be expressed by linguistic means or be implicit; even if we find words indicating the evaluator (e.g. personal or possessive pronouns) we do not tend to conclude that the subject is individual; even so, it can be inclusive of either social values or the interlocutor’s opinion and needs deeper conceptual analysis.
